Don’t you just love it when you come to an understanding which makes something so much easier?
I’ve come to understand that there is a formula to being Createful.
In a recent video, I posted I used the analogy of a train journey when it comes to the journey of being Createful – there’s a destination, a starting, point and the journey in between. I realised this connection
when I was photographing my coffee-table book – Down the Line, about the train line that runs between Cape Town and Simonstown.
But there’s also a formula to help us decide which journey we take.
Even though I’m talking about journeys and formulas which might sound all linear and scientific – Createfulness is an organic growth of expression, trying new things – while learning and exploring, making mistakes – and discarding that which doesn’t add value.
The journey and formula allow for a bit of structure from which the Createful expression grows. This adds a bit of balance to the whole art of being Createful, but ultimately everything has to be flexible.
Below is a short video about the formula and here is a link to a video about the journey
Combining the journey and the formula will give you a great kickstart and in the next post, I’m going to be chatting about the secret ingredients which adds all the flavour.
