Here I find myself doing research on how to do something, fun, exciting, romantic, entertaining, adventurous, etc. every day for the 31 days of August…

…and “why,” you might be asking?

I blame it on the combination of the extra glass or two of bootlegged wine during a lockdown lunch and being the ideal and perfect partner that I keep telling myself I am  – while chatting about the  Womens’ day celebration.

The words, ” I think that woman should be celebrated for more than 1 day and I propose that we celebrate you (Helene – Marie) every day for the whole of August,” came tumbling out of my mouth before I had any chance of pulling them back.

So now I’ve embarked on my next Createful project and as I’ve previously mentioned – each Createful project includes;

• Mind – how we think about it – (I’m thinking what have I done 🙂 ) what can I do, and how can I make it memorable for her?
• Matter – What is the creative expression – anything that I can find on a daily basis to keep Helen- Marie entertained?
• Motivation – to show Helene Marie that she is special and…that I’m capable of doing something special for every day to celebrate her every day for 31 days…

So here I am on my  Createful journey and like any adventure – challenges arise, and one of the main challenges for me is that due to lockdown, social distancing, etc, some of the options are limited. We don’t enjoy going out to eat during these circumstances and we can’t go to a movie or the theatre etc, so I have to look for alternatives. The good news is that my cooking skills are developing in leaps and bounds 🙂

But like any Createful journey, at times we need assistance, as we seldom create it all by ourselves.

So I’m asking you for any pointers to help me to show how much I appreciate Helene Marie for the woman she is…while saving my own bacon.
