The 8th September 2015  the world celebrates “International Literacy Day.” It’s the (one) day when  we promote the importance of being literate.

Being fully literate is  a basic human right, as being able to read and write properly;

  • influences our self confidence,
  • enables us to develop our imaginations,
  • could possibly lead us on  adventures – whether mentally (imagination), or physically (something in a book interests us so much that we decide to explore it further),
  • and it  increases the options of life’s choices.

These are topics all spoken about when Calm in Storm speaks at schools across the country.

TalkEvery year, Calm in Storm plays a part in trying to promote the importance of reading, by speaking at schools in South Africa.
This year they will be speaking at schools in Kwazulu-Natal.

Rasa will be hosting an event, in Cape Town, on Saturday 5th September. The theme of this event IMAGINATION, something that Calm In Storm is passionate about promoting.

We hope to see you at our stand at this fun-filled event.
