Why do I need to go see Anthony Robbins?
Because even Mentors need Mentors.
Through the books that I’ve written and the workshops that I’ve facilitated, I’ve always said that we do have the power to achieve what we set our minds to. I’ve also said that if we silently look inwards the answers we seek towards our goals and dreams can be found. The power comes from within.
Midwinter last year I became stuck in a rut. Things weren’t going my way – as I like them to do. I got caught up in the mood of the media and allowed it to influence my outlook on life. Just like the Cape winter weather my mood and thoughts became grey and damp and everything I was expecting was like the rain we were all hoping for – on the horizon but never materialising.
How Anthony Robbins Appeared.
One of the luxuries we have is that of choice, and I realised that I had to choose my thought patterns. Thereafter every-time I felt myself slipping into the wintery clouds of gloom I reminded myself that “I am here and I am now.” I accepted that I just need to release the idea that I can control every external outcome and that it’s Ok to relax- after all, why worry about something that you can’t control, it doesn’t affect the outcome?
A few days later a friend of mine in Germany emailed me to say that they had an extra ticket to Anthony Robbin’s “Unleash the Power Within’s” seminar in London. It was mine if I wanted it and all I had to do was get myself to London.
It’s funny how the master appears when the student is ready.
I like Anthony Robbins and I’m really excited that I’ll get to experience – first hand, an industry leader showcasing what make’s them so influential. For 4 days I’ll be mentored, taught and learn concepts that will make me a better Coach and Mentor and enable me to live that bit closer to what I write and workshop about.
From the 19th – 22nd April I’ll be in London at the seminar.
